For carriers

Owner-operators and small fleets move most of the spot and overflow freight on this site. Setup takes a day, pay is on time, detention is passed through when it is on the POD, and nobody re-brokers your load.

Requirements

  • Active motor carrier authority for at least six months, with no conditional or unsatisfactory safety rating
  • $1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 motor truck cargo, verified with your agent; reefer breakdown coverage for reefer loads
  • ELD in service and tracking enabled through Motive, Samsara, MacroPoint or Trucker Tools for every JLR load
  • W-9, signed carrier agreement and the notice of assignment if you factor
  • No re-brokering or double brokering; the driver and truck on the rate confirmation move the load
  • TWIC for port loads; hazmat endorsement and placards for hazmat loads; tarps, chains and straps for flatbed

  • Port Houston drayage: Barbours Cut and Bayport to the metro, port-credentialed power only

What we hold ourselves to with carriers

The rate on the confirmation is the rate

No post-dispatch renegotiation, no deductions that are not on the agreement, and detention, layover and TONU paid at the rates the shipper is charged when the POD documents them.

Paid on time

Net 30 by ACH with no fee, or quick pay in two business days at 2.5%. A clean POD and invoice in the portal starts the clock; you can see the status without calling.

Dock problems are our problems

Shipper not ready, consignee refusing, lumper disputes, appointment missed by the dock: call dispatch, and dispatch handles the shipper. The driver is not the one negotiating.

Trucks out of Houston wanted.

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, hotshot and port-credentialed power. Send your MC and equipment.
