Cross-dock & storage
Containers that need to become truckloads, truckloads that need to become store deliveries, and overflow that needs a roof for a few weeks run through partner cross-docks on the southwest and east sides of Houston. Rates are per pallet for handling and storage and per order and line for pick and pack, with floor-loaded container transload priced per pound. Inventory is visible in the portal by pallet and lot, and freight leaves on our trucks or yours.
What is included
- Container transload to 53-foot trailers: palletized per pallet, floor-loaded per pound with a per-container minimum
- Cross-dock for consolidation and deconsolidation, same day or next day
- Short-term storage billed per pallet per month, racked or floor, with lot and date tracking
- Pick and pack by order and line; shrink-wrap, labeling and pallet exchange at published rates
- Food-grade, climate-controlled and hazmat-segregated space available at the partner facilities on request
- Inbound and outbound appointment scheduling, dock photos and exception reports
- Inventory and movement reports in the portal, and a weekly invoice

Is it your building?
The cross-dock and storage space is at partner facilities under contract to JLR Logistics; the freight, the paperwork and the invoice are ours. Facility addresses are on the booking confirmation.
How long can freight stay?
Short-term storage is priced per month with no minimum term; freight that stays past 90 days is quoted a long-term rate. Most of what we store moves inside 30 days.
Can you ship to Amazon and retail DCs?
Yes. Appointment scheduling, labeling, pallet standards and the delivery windows the retailer requires are handled on the pick-and-pack side.
