Port Houston drayage
Import and export containers between the Port Houston terminals, the Pearland and Englewood rail ramps and warehouses across the metro, priced per move by distance band with the accessorials published. Our drayage carriers hold port credentials, TWIC and UIIA interchange, and the dispatcher watches last free day and vessel cutoffs so you are not paying demurrage for something a pre-pull would have avoided. Transload to a 53-foot trailer or cross-dock storage is available at the partner facilities in Stafford and Pasadena.

Questions about port houston drayage
What counts as a move?
A round trip: pick up the loaded container at the terminal, deliver, wait up to two hours for live unload, return the empty. Drop-and-hook is the same price plus the chassis days. Longer dwell is detention or storage at the published rates.
Can you pull overweight containers?
Yes, on a triaxle chassis with the overweight permit, both on the price list. Tell us the gross weight when you send the booking.
Do you handle customs?
Your customs broker files; we move the box once it is released and coordinate the exam move if one is ordered. We can introduce a licensed customs broker on request.
