Flatbed & oversize
Building materials, pipe and valve, fabricated steel, machinery and oilfield equipment move on 48-foot flatbeds, step decks and, for the tall or heavy, RGN and multi-axle through partner heavy-haul carriers. Open-deck rates are per mile on the lane table with the flatbed column, tarping and securement are priced per load, and oversize and overweight permits, route surveys and escorts are passed through at cost plus the published handling fee so the quote is the same number as the invoice.

Questions about flatbed & oversize
What dimensions need a permit?
In Texas, anything over 8 feet 6 inches wide, 14 feet high, 65 feet long for a trailer and load, or 80,000 pounds gross. Tell us dimensions and weight with the rate request and the quote comes back with the permits priced.
Do you tarp?
Yes, lumber and steel tarps at the published rates. Conestoga trailers are available on request when tarping is not practical.
Can you handle a job-site delivery with no forklift?
A flatbed with a Moffett or a crane truck can be arranged; say so when requesting the rate. Otherwise the consignee unloads and driver assist is at the published rate where safe.
